Tenez! Tennis. Immagini di gioco dal Medioevo alla contemporaneità

On the occasion of the exhibition “Tenez! Tennis. Immagini di gioco dal Medioevo alla contemporaneità", organized at the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi from 7 November 2022 to 8 January 2023, Palazzo Madama lent a bracelet for the game of ball.

On the occasion of the ATP tennis finals played in Turin from 13 to 20 November 2022, the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi developed an in-depth study on the history of racket and ball games, taking inspiration from the play-themed works present in the halls ( see the portrait of Christine of France's children with a tennis racket, circa 1638). The project was curated by Alessandra Castellani Torta in collaboration with Clelia Arnaldi di Balme.
