Fondazione Torino Musei launches a call to select the DIRECTOR of ARTISSIMA

The Director will be responsible for strengthening the international position of Artissima, ensuring the quality of art and fostering management and commercial policies aimed at increasing the profitability of the Fair, and for developing Artissima brand through the conception and realization of special projects. The Director will also be responsible to share the development strategies of the Fair and its special projects with Fondazione Torino Musei, realizing curatorial activities in collaboration with the Museums of Fondazione Torino Musei.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: specialized knowledge of contemporary art; well-established relationships in the contemporary art market; experience in business management, ideally in the art market; experience in event management; experience in marketing and public relations; experience in the development of digital activities in the art sector; experience in business management, economic and financial management and in the management and organization of human resources; excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
The post is for a full-time position, three-year contract (2022 - 2023 – 2024 editions), with economic and contractual terms appropriate to the candidate’s professional experience. The parties may extend the contract up to two years.
The curriculum vitae and the project will be examined by Fondazione Torino Musei, with the eventual support of an external evaluating Committee.
